Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

The program targets workers wanting to live in a Canadian province and obtain permanent residence while having skills, a diploma or degree, and work experience. Immigration programs of each province or territory are diverse in streams and requirements. Generally, key categories of interest are students, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs. There are two ways you can apply for a nomination from a province or territory

Paper-based process

Meet eligibility requirements of your desired province/territory.

Once nominated, send to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizen Canada your application in the paper for permanent residence.

Obtain a police certificate and pass a medical exam.

Prepare necessary documents until approval.

Express Entry process

Contact the province for a nomination under Express Entry.

Once nominated, create an Express Entry profile.

Update your profile and submit relevant documents thereafter.

You can apply for the given provinces’ nomination under their offered programs.
