The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) of Manitoba recently conducted a draw to invite foreign nationals for immigration to the province. On June 12, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) provided 36 candidates with Letters of Advice to Apply for immigration through the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. Check your eligibility for enhanced PNP streams. Among the 36 candidates, five were issued letters after providing a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code. The lowest score among the candidates in this draw was 613. Only those candidates who submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) for this stream and were directly invited by the MPNP as part of a strategic recruitment initiative were considered. Employers in Manitoba seeking skilled workers can utilize strategic recruitment initiatives to attract foreign talent. To participate, employers must fulfill specific eligibility requirements for the positions they wish to fill and go through the province’s ABC Recruitment Process. Once approved, they can submit information on international candidates to Manitoba’s Employer Services. Candidates must also meet certain eligibility criteria related to age, education, work experience, and language proficiency, as well as the specific criteria for the stream under which they were invited. Similar to most Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), Manitoba’s provincial nomination allocation was reduced by half in 2025. The MPNP has set its nomination quota at 4,750 for this year. In February, Newfoundland and Labrador managed to boost its provincial allocation for the year by engaging in talks with the federal government. Evaluate your qualifications for the enhanced PNP streams.
